Our annual peace camp brings youth from the Great Lakes Region of Africa together for fun and learning in conflict transformation through peer mediation, trauma counseling, art therapy, and the use of sports, arts and media in peacebuilding. It is building understanding and friendship across borders. Learn more

We support youth peace clubs in Rwanda and the DR Congo, helping them to become self sufficient as they address local needs and gain experience in entrepreneurship through our 10,000 Dreams Challenge that supports income-generating activities.

We also offer counselling workshops and other skills learning opportunities in partnership with community-based groups and others. And support the development of youth media such as our short film, Tears of Hope, and a new youth radio drama, Urumuri.
New projects in the works
In 2017, we launched YAE – Young African Entrepreneurs – with our partner Halo Highway to provide youth with skills in creating and launching a small business. The project includes business mentors from Rwanda, USA and Canada.
